The original
drawings for these four mosaics emerged as a gift out of a series of
meditations on some Kabbalistic teachings. They refer to the personal,
social and spiritual call to awareness for the labyrinthine journey
that is the ingathering. It is said that the task given to individuals
is to liberate or raise the sparks that became trapped in material existence
when the vessels containing the light of the infinite source shattered
at the moment of creation with the Ein Sof withdrew into itself. These
four mosaics are a contemplation on this call to restore the sparks
and shards to divinity.
